Heidi Wardle

Heidi grew up in Castle Rock, Colorado and relocated to the northern Virginia area after school to become a working student for Olympic rider Phyllis Dawson.  After spending the first part of her adult life riding and training horses professionally, Heidi turned to the normalcy of a job behind a desk but never wanted to give up that daily passion of work with horses.  Lucky for her – in 2017 she stumbled into a career in equine insurance and finds it just as rewarding as trotting down the centerline or jumping a cross country fence.  When not busy explaining the ins and outs of major medical coverage, Heidi is training and competing her off-track Thoroughbreds ‘Cold Spice’ and ‘Generalist’ in the sport of 3 Day Eventing.
